Pulley interfaces covered by the Hongsen catalog
Choose the belt-groove profile and shaft-mounting system separately. SPZ, SPA, SPB and SPC identify groove families; taper-bush and QD identify different hub interfaces. Hongsen's catalog provides references for both decisions.
1008–5050 are catalog references for taper-bush families, not shaft-bore dimensions or a continuous stock range. Confirm the selected code, actual bore and units. Final dimensions, compatibility and supply scope follow the requested model or controlled drawing.

Quotation depends on the controlled drawing and application, not on the gallery image alone.
Quality control- Drive geometry
- Belt profile, groove count and diameter. Label each diameter as outside or pitch/datum; an outside-diameter measurement alone does not define the groove geometry.
- Hub interface
- Finished bore, taper-bush or QD interface; selected bushing code, shaft-bore size in mm or inches, keyway fit and mounting orientation.
- Material
- Requested material grade or applicable standard, with application and load. If the grade is undecided, provide the duty for review.
- Machining
- Drawing revision, bore and keyway dimensions, groove surfaces and faces. Define radial/axial runout with its datum and acceptance limit where required.
- Verification
- If balancing is required, state operating speed in rpm and the balance requirement/acceptance condition. Agree material and dimensional records before quotation.

What to send for an initial review
Start with a drawing or clear sample photos, model reference and quantity. Add the known details below; missing items can be clarified during the first review.

Common sourcing questions
Can Hongsen review a pulley from an existing sample?
Yes. A drawing is preferred, but sample photos and measured information can start a discussion. Final manufacturing still requires controlled technical data.
Does SPB or a taper-bush code fully specify a pulley?
No. SPZ, SPA, SPB and SPC describe belt-groove families. A taper-bush code such as 1008 identifies a separate hub/bushing family. Also confirm groove count, diameter definition, shaft bore, units and keyway against the model or drawing.
Can QD and taper-bush interfaces be substituted?
They use different mating hub systems. Do not assume substitution because the shaft bore matches. Send the mounting system, bushing code and hub/shaft drawing; compatibility and whether the quotation includes a bushing or fasteners must be confirmed.
Are the model numbers on this page stock items?
They are catalog examples. Availability, dimensions and commercial terms are confirmed against the requested model or customer drawing.
